CONington is proud to welcome Tim Kask, one of the earliest creative forces behind the rise of tabletop role-playing games. As TSR’s first full-time employee and the original editor of The Strategic Review and early Dragon magazines, Tim helped shape the voice, culture, and imagination of Dungeons & Dragons during its formative years.

At CONington 2026, Tim will headline two special events:

• The Legendary Game Session — Six seats will be auctioned for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play in a game run by Tim himself, with all proceeds benefiting the Center for Great Neighborhoods.

• The OG Gaming Panel — Stories, history, and behind-the-scenes insight from the dawn of the hobby.

Tim’s legacy touches every corner of RPG culture, and we’re honored to bring him to Covington for a celebration of creativity, community, and the roots of the game we love.

If you're into Mörk Borg, savage mythology, or just love your games dripping with mead, metal, and mayhem — this is your chance to battle at the table with one of the most ferocious voices in indie gaming.  

 CONington proudly welcomes Larry Hastings, founder of Vulture Productions, known for his extraordinary cosplay, prop fabrication, and cinematic artistry. With years of experience bringing fantasy to life for film, television, and fans alike, Larry’s craftsmanship captures the magic of imagination. At CONington 2026, he joins us as a Guest Judge for the Cosplay Contest, celebrating creativity and the vibrant spirit of the community.
