By purchasing a badge and attending CONington (“the Event”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct. These rules apply to all attendees, exhibitors, volunteers, and participants.

1. Admission & Badge Use
A badge is a revocable license to attend the Event. It must be worn and visible at all times in Event spaces.
Badges are non-transferable once picked up. Lost badges will not be replaced; a new badge must be purchased.
The Event reserves the right to revoke any badge without refund if these terms are violated.

2. Refunds, Transfers & Event Changes
All badge sales are final. Refunds will not be issued under any circumstances, including non-attendance, illness, weather, travel issues, or scheduling conflicts.
Prior to badge pickup, badges may be transferred to another individual by contacting Event organizers before February 1, 2026.
If the Event is canceled in full, you will be offered a refund or the option to roll your badge forward to a future Event.
Programming, guests, vendors, and features are subject to change without notice, and changes do not entitle refunds.

3. Code of Conduct
CONington is dedicated to creating a fun, inclusive, and safe environment. By attending, you agree to abide by the following:
Respect Others
Treat all attendees, staff, guests, vendors, and venue personnel with courtesy and respect.
Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
Harassment-Free Zone
Harassment includes (but is not limited to):
Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, or age.
Deliberate intimidation, stalking, unwanted physical contact, or unwelcome attention.
Disruption of panels, games, or events.
Inappropriate photography, recording, or image use without consent.
Costumes & Props
Costumes must be family-friendly and comply with local laws.
No real weapons are allowed. Prop weapons must be visibly marked as props and peace-bonded if requested.
Venue & Safety Rules
Follow all venue rules, signage, and staff instructions.
Smoking/vaping only in designated areas.
Keep aisles and emergency exits clear.
Enforcement
Violations of this Code may result in warnings, badge revocation, removal without refund, or involvement of law enforcement at the discretion of Event organizers.
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, report it immediately to Event staff or security.

4. Health & Safety
Attendees must follow all current health and safety policies in effect at the time of the Event (including local ordinances, venue requirements, and Event protocols).
The Event reserves the right to impose safety measures as needed (mask use, vaccination proof, capacity limits, etc.). Non-compliance may result in removal without refund.

5. Liability Waiver
By attending, you assume all risks associated with participation, including:
Risk of exposure to contagious illness (including COVID-19 or similar viruses).
Risk of personal injury or accident.
Risk of loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

6. Media Release
By entering the Event, you understand that the Event and its partners may photograph, film, or otherwise record you. You grant CONington permission to use, reproduce, and distribute your likeness, voice, or image for promotional, archival, or commercial purposes in any media now known or later developed, without compensation.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, it is your responsibility to inform Event staff and avoid areas where photography or filming is taking place.

7. Minors
Attendees under 18 must have a parent or guardian agree to these Terms when purchasing a badge.
Attendees under 13 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian.

8. Force Majeure
The Event shall not be liable for delay, cancellation, or modification due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, labor disputes, government orders, or venue unavailability.

9. Special Programming Content
Some programming at CONington may include mature themes not suitable for younger audiences. In particular, the Saturday night concert (featuring members of Improv Cincinnati and Lords of Low-Fi) is designated Mature Audiences Only (18+).
Attendees under 18 will not be admitted
Valid government-issued photo ID may be required for entry.
The Event is not responsible if you miss programming due to age restrictions.
